TODAY: CHILDREN’S NATIVITY PLAY REHEARSAL 2:30 pm. All primary children from Reception to Year 6 are welcome to participate. Further rehearsal next Sat 17th (at 4:00 p.m.) It will take place at the:
PARISH CHRISTMAS CONCERT and NATIVITY PLAY SUN 18TH DEC 3p.m. - 5 p.m in the presence of Bishop George Stack with a wide range of music and drama from young and old. Our Charity collection this year is for “ The Children of Tsunami”. A very much needed gift will be sent direct through Fr Nimal on your behalf. There will be mulled wine and mince pies following it. Hope you can make it!

SENIOR CITIZEN’S CHRISTMAS CONCERT in St Mary Magdalen’s Junior school hall, Linacre Rd., Wednesday 14th December 1:45 p.m.
DURING NEXT SUNDAY’S 10:30 AM MASS an adult parishioner of ours, Ugo Ikebata, will be confirmed.

PARISH GROUP LEADERS: We are hoping to develop our parish noticeboards. If your group would like to have a special notice space on one of our boards please mention to one of the priests after Mass or ring Clergy House between 10 & 2 wk days.

CONFIRMATION This yr’s Confirmation services for those in Year 9 will be later than usual: Sat 8th & Sat 15th July (which does not clash with World Cup matches!) Interviews take place in Mar.Watch this space.

CONVENT OF JESUS & MARY, Park Ave. NW2, ADMISSIONS TO RECEPTION CLASSES SEPT 2006- There will be two meetings at the school for parents who wish to gain a place for their child in reception Class ’06 Tue 13th Dec @ 10.45am OR 2.30pm.
New admission arrangements/ forms are in place for this Sept in all infant / primary schools. Mrs O’Higgins will explain the process, distribute the admissions forms and answer questions. Please inform any families new to our parish who are looking for a good Catholic education.
Nursery Admissions Sept 2006- Applications for entry to Nursery in Sept ’06 can be collected from school office from Mon 12th Dec. Closing date Fri February 10th @ 3pm.

-- YOUTH CLUB Tues 5:30pm-this week’s session, which is the last before Christmas, takes place in the Church .Our young people will be helping to animate the 6:30 Mission service. We will also be involved in parish Christmas concert on 18th Dec. Please see sam-ples of Christmas cards that club recently produced on noticeboard to left of back doors.
-- YOUTH SVP Drama at mission service this Tuesday 5:30 p.m. in Church. Hampers project next Sat (10th) 2:30 pm - meet at Annexe.

RAFFLE & DANCE Many thanks to all who worked so hard to make these events such a success under the coordination of our social committee (SECO). The raffle ticket sales raised £1117.00. Through parishioners at Barclauys and Abbey National we are in the happy position to more than triple this! Profit of dance tickets was £162.85 .

NOVENA OF PRAYER AND WITNESS AT A BRITISH PREGNANCY ADVISORY SERVICE ABORTUARY SUPPORTED BY CARDINAL CORMAC This will take place concurrently with our Mission, from 3rd – 11th December, in Bedford Square, WC1, particularly 9-6 each weekday (9-8 on Thursday). It will be a prayerful and peaceful time. The Rosary will be said and counsellors will be available for any clinic attendees wanting to talk. Any are welcome to pop along.
