TODAY
§ WHAT IS YOUR NATIONALITY? If it’s not on the list on the red clipboard at the back please add it! This is in preparation for our June 24th International Evening. § New Planned Giving Envelopes for new financial year are available at the back. § It is possible to sign up to be a reader or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion for Holy Week & Easter in Annexe § Rosters for Readers & Extraordinary Ministers from 9th April are in Annexe. § There are new Catholic Truth Society pamphlets in the pamphlet rack. § A leaflet explaining ‘ Holy Week & Easter’ is available in Church exit wall holder. § April Edition of Bible Alive is available § Spring edition of the parish magazine Magdala will be on sale. § March-April Faith Magazine is now available, see especially new shorter articles and columns, e.g. on the Pope’s latest Encyclical by William Oddie, and an experience of pregnancy by Fiorella Nash At today’s 10:30 and 12 noon Masses Sunday’s Masses we will be ‘inscribing’ some parishioners for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation, to be received at Easter.
At next Sunday’s 6:30 p.m. Mass our Y9 Confirmation Candidates will be inscribed.
The following ( Palm) Sunday’s 10:30 am Mass will be animated by young parishioners. THIS WEEK Tuesday: LAST YOUTH CLUB EVENING until after Easter. Members of the Youth Club are invited to be involved in our Palm Sunday 10:30 am Mass (2 weeks today) & the Ecumenical Good Fri 1 pm Procession from St Gabriel’s Church to St Andrew’s. Tuesday: Understanding the Mass as a Meal 3rd TALK & MEDITATION at 7.00pm - 8:00 p.m. 30mins talk in annexe and then move into the Church for 25mins led prayer. Friday: THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS 7:00pm after Mass. Saturday: SERVERS Practice and reflection for both 12 noon teams 10:30 am - 11:30 Saturday:JOURNEY IN FAITH 11:00am a powerful personal experience of conver-sion. Last meeting before Easter will be 8thApril. Any wanting to deepen knowl. of faith are welcome SERVERS We would request that parents take albs home for cleaning in time for Holy Week. Many thanks. The 12 noon teams have an hours practice session next Saturday 10:30am GOAN STATIONS OF THE CROSS will be recited next Sunday at 4 pm in the Church PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO NATIONAL SHRINE OF WALSINGHAM: Saturday 10th June, leaving 7:30 am prompts. Adults £23, accompanied children £10; includes a hot evening meal, as well as Mass at Slipper chapel, procession along the old ‘Pilgrim’s Way’& Benediction RENTED ACCOMMODATION WANTED Our Parish Youth Worker plus friends are looking for digs locally. Please call Clergy House. 11-15 yr olds: Mon 7th August - Thursday 10th August Parish trip to Faith Summer Break – This is a fruitful, well supervised time of fun (e.g.Games, Swimming sports & Chessington Theme Pk) and faith (e.g. Talks & Prayer) at Woldingham School, Surrey. Forms from Fr. Hugh. CAR PARKING IN OUR FORECOURT Could those drivers who are elderly, disabled or the drivers of such and who would like to park their car in the forecourt on for a Sunday Mass (including the Saturday Vigil) please give their contact detail to Clergy House/one of the priests.

It is possible to purchase tickets for next Saturday’s St Patrick’s Supper-Dance after Mass today. Last weekend for this.
§ After mass today we take up our monthly Building Fund Collection. § CTS leaflet on LENT available for wall holders, near exit and newspaper rack. § St Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter Cards now on sale in the repository. This Friday is a FAMILY FAST DAY focusing upon the importance of Water. More often than not we take it for granted. Until recently the young boy pictured on the poster in the porch did not have this basic need. His family live in a dusty shantytown on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. CAFOD has founded a project to provide pumps & piping for a new water supply. By supporting Fast Days you are enabling CAFOD to continue to help people in need all over the world to improve their lives. Please fill in the Gift Aid form on the back of your collection envelope this earns an extra 28p for every £1 donated.
