BUILDING FUND This week we shall be making our last collection for the Building Fund.



§ Assisted Suicide Bill - Campaign leaflet from our Bishop’s is at the back. Please write to our M.P. asap. This scandalous bill has second reading in May.
§ New Planned Giving Envelopes for new financial year are available at the back.
§ There are new Catholic Truth Society pamphlets in the pamphlet rack.
§ Easter Edition of Bible Alive is available in newspaper rack.

I wish to express my sincere thanks to the priest, and all the parishioners for the numerous Masses,Get-Well cards, visit and gifts during my recent operation and
recovery. I am very touched and moved by your concern and interest in my welfare. Your kindness and generosity is overwhelming. I am convinced that my recovery is mainly due to your prayers, support and how much you care for me in St. Mary Magdalen ‘s. A Mass will be said for all your intentions. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PREPARATION
Parents Meeting:
Next Children’s meeting Children’s meeting, will take place here at the Church, not in the Infant’s school

YOUTH CLUB will restart on Tuesday 2nd May, continuing for ten Tuesdays (excluding 30t May, half-term) unit 11th July.

NEW SERVERS We will be running a servers’ training session for five term-time Saturday mornings (10:30 am – 11:30 am) from 13th May. Those parents of young people in Year Five or above (i.e. nearly ten year’s old upwards) who would like to learn how to serve at a Sunday.
Mass here are asked to give their names, addresses, telephone numbers and preferred Mass time to one of the priests.


11-15 YR OLDS: Mon 7th August - Thursday 10th August Parish trip to Faith Summer Break – This is a fruitful, well supervised time of fun (e.g.Games, Swimming sports & Chessington Theme Pk) and faith (e.g. Talks & Prayer) at Woldingham School, Surrey. Forms from Fr. Hugh.

FAITH SUMMER SESSION – Mon 31st July – Friday 4th August Quality talks on “Reasons for Believing, and prayer, in a holiday atmosphere at Woldingham School, Surrey. Fr Hugh is leading a group.

PRO-LIFE EUTHANASIA CONFERENCE with quality speakers including Terri Schiavo, Steve Mosher etc. Sat 29th April, Sacred Heart School, Hammersmith: call 020.8857.9950.
PARISH CENTENARY CONCERT with Patricia Rozario, Friday 9th June 7:30 p.m.– 9:30 More information to follow.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO NATIONAL SHRINE OF WALSINGHAM: Sat 10th June, leaving 7:30 am prompt, returning about 8:30 p.m. Adults £23, accompanied children £10; includes a hot evening meal, as well as Mass at Slipper chapel, procession along the old ‘Pilgrim’s Way’.

WEDNESDAY CLUB: DAY TRIPS-1: Thurs 29th June Eastbourne, £10.
