The Little Sisters of the Poor who run happy homes for the elderly will be making a brief APPEAL after all Masses for the rebuilding of St Anne’s Home, Stoke Newington.

It is possible to sign up for our small Lenten REFLECTION GROUPS by specifying the best time of the week for you on one of the beige cards and returning to back of Church or one of the priests.

At the 10:30 am Mass those children preparing for First Holy Communion will be inscribed into their First Confession preparation.

At the 12 noon Mass an adult parishioner will take par tin a Rite of Welcome in preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Lenten “A Holy Nation” MEDITATION BOOKS and Prayer Cards for daily Lenten meditation, available from newspaper rack, or back of Church.

FEBRUARY EDITION OF MAGDALA the parish magazine is available after Mass. 25p

DURING LENT starts 21st Feb, Ash Wednesday.

· We will be running Reflection groups a chance to reflect & share upon the Sunday readings To sign up see above. Groups will use the “Holy Nation” books, see above.

· Communal Morning Prayer at 7:45am on weekdays and 8:15am weekends.

· There will be a Divine Mercy Holy Hour on Fridays 3 pm – 4 pm.
· There will be Stations of the Cross each Friday evening at 7 pm.

MEETING FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN YEAR 4 & 5 who are interested in helping to set up some form of club for these youngsters, possibly on a Fri eve, building up upon last term’s Drama Club, Thurs 1st March, 6:15 p.m.–7:15 pm Church Annexe.

NEW SERVERS’ TRAINING for Year Five and above will take place soon after Easter.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES Mass in the Cathedral with the Cardinal on Saturday 17th February at 3.00pm. Followed by afternoon tea in the Cathedral Hall during which there will be a grand raffle for Diocesan Pilgrimage Funds. All are very welcome.
