At Back of Church: School Building Fund: Boxes of envelopes are available for collection.


THIS WEEKPlanned Giving Boxes of Envelopes- for year commencing 8th April still available at back of church for those who haven’t yet collected them. There is also a list at back for those who would like to join the Planned Giving scheme.

SEMINARY Magazine: The Mulberry, available on newspaper rack
Repository-Prayer bks, Rosaries, Medals, cards & gifts available for 1st Holy Communion.


After most Masses: Certificates will be presented to parishioners who recently completed the Echoes catechists course here in the parish.
At the 10:30 am Mass First Holy Communion children will be inscribed for this Sacrament.

At the 6:30 pm Mass Edna Smallie and children will be baptized.

YOUNG ADULTS GROUP for age 20’s, Clergy Ho, 7:30 pm.


MORNING PRAYER starts again for all this Monday, for the foreseeable future. Mon-Fri (except Wed) 7:45 am, Sat & Sun 8:45 am.

YOUTH CLUB (Y6-Y8) Starts again this Tuesday 5:30-7:30. Ten spaces for new members available. Yellow forms from Fr Hugh – this must before first night of attendance. Activities this term include a trip to St Albans (June 23rd, 1—5), trip to Gladstone Pk (May 8th), BBQ, visit of the Fire Brigade (with working hoses!), working with clay & paint, drama & videos, & lots of team games.
PARENTS of Children preparing for 1st Holy Communion have a very important meeting this Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.

CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES 2nd service is next Sat, rehearsal Thurs 6:30 pm.
Introductory meeting to our Post Confirmation Youth Group will be Sat 12th May at 5 pm in Church Annexe. Community service, fun activities & discussion for 14-18 yr olds


PARISH CONCERT: Friday 4th May 2007 7;30 pm “Easter Harmony”: with Irish folk music and pieces by Tavener, Fauré, Handel, Rossini & Haydn. See poster for full list of many musicians & singers, which include parish Goan & Junior school choirs.

WILLESDEN GREEN PIONEER ANNUAL SOCIAL Friday 11th May 2007 in St Mary & St Andrew’s Social Club , Dollis Hill Lane, NW2 6EH. Fund Raising for St Mary Magdalen’s Society for people with special needs. Tickets £4 Dancing 8pm-11.30pm. Everyone welcome.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY AT THE 10:30 AM MASS- we will be inviting children to come into the sacristy for the Liturgy of the Word (the 1st main part of the Mass, see front), as part of a biweekly summer trial period. This will be led by a priest & catechists. Giving children their own Liturgy of the Word is a tried & trusted method throughout the country. It will be a new ex-perience for all, just every other week at present. As ever we are considering ways of support-ing us all in our on-going offering of ourselves through Christ to the Father, which is Holy Mass. We will be interested to hear constructive feedback, & hopefully of even deeper spiritual fruits!

VOCATIONS SUNDAY: Annual retiring collection for the crucial work of Seminaries.

CRICKLEWOOD HOMELESS – There will be a collection of non-perishable goods.

SINHALA MASS 5:00 pm: first of a regular Mass for Sri Lankan people.

NEW SERVERS Our annual five Thursday afternoon course for new servers will commence on Thursday 3rd May, 5:00 pm – 6 pm, in the Annexe, finishing 7th June 9no meeting 31st May). For Year Five upwards. Please give names and contact details to one of the priests or Clergy Ho.

NEW YOUTH CLUB for those in Year 4 & 5 (aged 8-10) will be piloted for three Thursday evenings in June (14th, 21st, 28th), 6 pm – 7:30 pm in the Junior School hall. Membership forms available next weekend.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION & ALL VOLUNTEERS working with children who have changed their address since January 2005, please give your new details to Clergy House for the attention of Mrs Norrie Fox.

TODAY’S 10:30 am Mass will begin with procession from Grotto at 10:15

YOUNG ADULTS GROUP for those in their twenties, Clergy House, 7:30 pm. No meeting Easter Sunday. But we DO meet the following Sunday (15th).


CHURCH WILL BE CLOSED ON MORNING OF Tues 3rd April from 10.00am to 1.00pm for cleaning and floor polishing. Additional volunteers needed.

‘SCHOOLS FUND’. Many thanks to the 250 people who returned the yellow questionnaire. Only three explicitly objected. Next steps are now being worked out.

THANK YOU to all who supported our St Patrick’s dinner Dance on 23rd March thorugh help and/or attendance. £231.68 profit was made, which will be donated towards our Schools Fund which already has £925.60.

The Little Sisters of the Poor would like to thank all parishioners for their generous response to our Appeal on 10th & 11th Feb. they received a£1093.00 towards St Anne’s Building Project.


HOLY WEEK
Today we begin our journey into Holy Week.

MORNING PRAYER at 7:45am weekdays, except Wed.s, & 8:15am weekends. The last is Saturday, when we will celebrate the tradition Holy Saturday Tenebrae

PENITENTIAL SERVICE
 The Lenten Penitential Service will take place this Tuesday (3rd April) at 7.30pm. With the opportunity for individual confession.

Extra confession times: tonight 6pm; Mon & Wed 10:00 am; Sat 3 pm, 7 on request.

GOOD FRIDAY is a Day of Fasting and Abstinence from meat.

Children’s Workshop 10am – 12 noon for Reception age to Year Six, In LOFT.

Ecumenical Procession Starts at St Gabriel’s 1:00 for 1:15 opening prayer. Stewards to back of St Gabriels church for 1:00 pm. Our parish will be illustrating The Washing of the Feet. Other local churches will be illustrating other key aspects of the Paschal Mystery. We need youngsters to help hold a large letter of Jeus’s saying “I came not to be served but to serve.

 At the EASTER VIGIL MASS (Sat 8:30p.m.) two parishioners will be baptized Adeline
Oyedele, Cheryl Leong Wong will be baptized and confirmed, and Frank Farci, Lisa
Gregoire, Freddie Onwuka and Lionel Wong will be confirmed. Please pray for them.
At the Easter morning Masses some children will be baptized.
