TODAY
• Medals will be given to some servers who have been serving for more than one year (&, for some of those who serve at the 10:30 Mass next weekend
• Some of our new servers will begin serving at Mass (and, for some of those who will be serving at the Sat Eve and 10:30 Masses, the following two Sundays)
• There will be 4:00 pm an extra Mass in the Goan language.
Next Sunday: There will be Sinhalese Mass at 5:00 pm. At the Sat eve Mass Jack and Moira Doyle will renew their wedding vows.
NEW GROUPS in their second week.
Monday: SEEKERS GROUP 7:30 pm for six Mondays., Clergy House. This is for those who would like to learn more about the Catholic faith. It is possible to join in on this at any stage. Do you have a family member, friend or colleague who might be interested to pop into this?
Tuesday: PARISH TODDLERS’ Group for U-5’s with parents/carers, to be piloted for four Tuesdays from 12 June, 10 am -12 noon, church Annexe. Just two more after this one.
Thursday: Y4/Y5 YOUTH CLUB 6:00 – 7:30 pm Jesus and Mary infant convent. Just one more after this one.
Children’s Retreat next Saturday (23rd) Under-8’s 10:30 -12 noon Sacristy
Post-Confirmation Youth Group goes to Hertford (small, bustling Market town, site of seventh Century synod) Saturday 30th June 10 am – 6 p.m
SCHOOL’S BUILDING FUND Many for participation in our first two collections. The first, in May, collected £1953.00
Reports from our various parish groups, recently submitted to our parish forum are on the noticeboard to the side of the glass Knight’s noticeboard.
YOUTH SUMMER TRIPS WITH FR HUGH AND A PASTORAL ASSISTANT
11-15 YR OLDS Mon 6th August - Thursday 9th August Parish trip to Faith Summer Break – This is a fruitful, well supervised time of fun (e.g.Games, Swimming sports & Chessington Theme Pk) and faith (e.g. Talks & Prayer) at Woldingham School, Surrey.
15 -30 Yr OLDS FAITH SUMMER SESSION – Mon 30th July – Friday 3rd August Quality talks in a holiday atmosphere at Woldingham School, Surrey.

CONGRATULATIONS TO FR NIMAL (who is to celebrate 25 yrs of priesthood in July) AND AU REVOIR TO CHRIS HACK (who, after his year with us as Pastoral Assistant, starts at Allen Hall seminary in September).
Wine and nibbles afterwards in our garden, weather permitting
PARISH FEAST & FAMILY DAY: Sunday 8th July, In the new stadium of the new Donnington Rd Sports Centre, starting with 12 noon Mass at the stadium, including games etc., ending at 4 pm at the latest. We hope all parishioners of all ages will come!
VOLUNTEERS needed to help run numerous particular aspects of this event. Names to Fr Hugh please
STATUES IN THE GROTTO are newly painted. If anyone would like to help with replanting around it please contact Martin Plunkett through Clergy House
College Arms Project Cahirciveen- New development for immigrants and elderly. All applications welcome. Call 00353 66 94 72779 for more details.
