NOVEMBER DEAD LISTS For prayer intentions for Nov Masses. Sheets are placed close to the altar during Nov, and some particular Masses are said for their intention.
Small white envelopes which can be used to give monies towards Chris Hack this w/e or next w/e (in normal collection or to one of the priests). See below.
Blue Cards for signing up for “Sharing his Life” reflection groups which started well last week
Next weekend: Cricklewood Homeless collection for non-perishable foods.
Chris Hack, who was among us for more than a year has now (finally) started at Allen Hall seminary. If you would like to speed him on his way through a donation please put it in one of the small white envelopes in porch, leaving it blank or putting his name on it, and place in normal collections or give back to give to one of the priests, by the end of next weekend
NEW CTS PAMPHLETS in pamphlet rack: e.g. bottom row on preparing for Advent & Christmas, third row pocket versions of parts of the New Testament: & “Message of Walsingham” etc.
ANNEXE LIBRARY: NEW BOOKS including in the parenting section, three brand new books: “Mothering: A spiritual and practical approach”, “Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters” and a “A Year Book of Seasons and Celebrations”. Also on bottom shelf some excellent books for children.
N.B. Children making more noise than their fair share can be taken in there (i.e.: the Annexe), where they can see the books and adults can listen to the Mass.
1ST COMMUNION ENROLMENT 2008Parents of children in Year Three or above who would like them to receive First Holy communion in 2008 should now contact Clergy Ho to arrange for a November family meeting with Mrs Celia Edwards our coordinator. Forms at back. Off-white for Year 3 and 4, orange for Year 5 and above
Those of the above who are attending Non-Catholic Schools- Please contact Clergy Ho with contact details to enrol in a 6 week course commencing on Tues 30th Oct at 5.00pm. The child would then join the main programme in January.

AUTUMN REFLECTION GROUPS reflecting upon the Pope’s recent letter of the Mass will continue this Tues or Wed eve.s for 5 more wks. It is still possible to sign up on blue cards.
POST-CONFIRMATION YOUTH GROUP (Y9-13) Next Sat visiting. Social at the Infant convent chapel in Park Ave. 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 pm ish will now be following Sat (3rd Nov)
RETREAT DAY FOR LEADERS : Next Sat. 27th) 10am-4 Still places available for this inspiring day. Let Fr Hugh know if you’d like to come, with the v. insightful director of Birmingham’s Maryvale.

Thursday 1st 7:30 pm WANT LESS STRESS? First of a monthly retreat evening looking at how to use meditation exercises to live a more peaceful life. See posters and more info next wk
Friday 2nd: All Souls Day First Friday Holy Hour: 6:40 pm for 7pm. All encouraged to come. This month we pray especially for the First Holy Communion group, the Confirmation group and the Post-Confirmation Youth Group. Catechists and others are invited to a twenty minute mediation just before by Fr Hugh, in the annexe, i.e. 6:40 pm.
Tues 13th (or Thurs 6th Dec) 7 pm – 8:15 pm. Child Protection Evening. -for all with respons-ibility over children in our parish, who must attend this evening, OR the one on Thurs 6th Dec,7pm.
Saturday 17th 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm & monthly thereafter for five months (3rd Sat.s).
“Five Golden Threads of the Catechism” Following success of “Echoes” course Mrs.Celia Edwards & Dr Michael Jarmulowicz will be presenting this complimentary course. All welcome.

MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY, with Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor, Westminster Cathedral – Saturday 10th May 2008 at 3.00 pm
The Cardinal invites all couples in the Diocese who have their 10th, 25th,30th, 40th, 50th & 60th+ anniversary in 2008. Contact details to of those who qualify to Clergy Ho by December 1st.
