THIS WEEKEND tickets on sale for our Advent raffle and for the Dance on Saturday 8th December. Adults £8, children £3. In aid of the School’s Building Fund.

THIS WEEK
 YOU DID IT TO ME: A New monthly Pray, Inform and Act Pro-Life Group will commence on Mon (26th) 7:30 pm (i.e .last Mon of month) following the success of our two Pro-Life information evening earlier this year. All welcome to come & help set the agenda.

 There will be an extra Mass on Wednesday at 12:30 pm with some priests and lay people involved in Faith Movement.

 Wednesday club Christmas Bazaar 2.00pm, Kings Hall, Harlesden Rd All welcome.

 The Sharing his Life Reflection groups have finished for this season

 1ST COMMUNION ENROLMENT 2008 – LAST WEEK: Parents of children in Year Three or above who would like them to receive First Holy communion in 2008 should now contact Clergy House. Forms at back.


EARLY ADVENT
Mon 3rd Senior Citizen’s Christmas concert at St Mary Magdalen’s Junior School 2:00 pm

Tues 4th Queen of Love prayer group- 1st Tuesday of the month, 4th December. Rosary & Reflection inspired by reputed apparitions in Schio, Italy.

Thurs 6th 8 pm Meditation Evening- Annexe “Are you too busy for an evening like this?”- helping to find relaxation and peace with meditative techniques.

Thurs 6th 7.30pm, St Agnes RC Church, Cricklewood. Meditative music evening. Refreshments provided. Donated proceeds to the Rwandan Music Therapy Project.

Sat 8th Advent Mission Dance with raffle
Tues 11th Advent Mission Penitential Service

Sat 8th/Sun 9th Servers medals will be awarded to those in their second year at Sunday Masses, and, for teams which follow a rota, the following two weeks.

ADVENT MISSION December 9th – 14th

THE ENCLOSED LEAFLET is to give to the person distanced from the Catholic church for whom you have been praying over the last three weeks or anyone else, inviting them to come to our Advent Mission. May God provide a providential opportunity for this encounter.

Accommodation: if anyone is able to offer accommodation to one or two of the mission team from December 8th-15th please let Clergy House know.


SEPT 2008 PRIMARY SCHOOL TRANSFER

• All parent parishioners involved in any primary school transfer need to ring Clergy House (between 10 & 2 on a weekday) to arrange a brief interview, preferably before Christmas. Slots in January will be very limited.
• All application forms must be submitted to Brent by 8th February including supplementary forms for faith schools. J&M admission forms can be collected from school office.

PRAYING FOR ONE PERSON who is not in full communion with the Catholic Church (e.g. lapsed or non-rc) that they may come to our advent mission. Now begins the third and final week in which we hope that parishioners are doing this. In two weeks time leaflets will be available to give to this person.

THIS WEEKEND We will be selling tickets for our Advent raffle and for the Dance at which it will take place, and which will kick off our Advent Mission on Saturday 8th December. Adults £8, children £3. In aid of the School’s Building Fund. Some of the Mission team will be at the dance!

 November Dead Lists For prayer int.s for Nov Masses. Purple Sheets are placed close to the altar during Nov, and some particular Masses are said for their intention.

“Five Golden Threads of the Catechism” whilst this course is strongly recommended for catechists, it is NOT necessary to have completed the Echoes course, or to be a catechist, to enrol. Led by Mrs.Celia Edwards & Dr Michael Jarmulowicz. All welcome
