Week of 11th November 2007
PRAYING FOR ONE PERSON who is not in full communion with the Catholic Church (e.g. lapsed or non-rc) that they may come to our advent mission. Now begins the second week in which we hope that parishioners are doing this. In two weeks time leaflets will be available to give to this person.


TODAY we will take up our annual Sick and Retired Priests collection
At the 12 noon Mass there will be a Baptism.


NEXT WEEKEND we will be selling tickets for our Advent raffle, in aid of the School’s Building Fund.


AT THE BACK
 November Dead Lists For prayer int.s for Nov Masses. Purple Sheets are placed close to the altar during Nov, and some particular Masses are said for their intention.

1ST COMMUNION ENROLMENT 2008
Parents of children in Year Three or above who would like them to receive First Holy communion in 2008 should now contact Clergy Ho to arrange for a November family meeting with Mrs Celia Edwards our coordinator. Forms at back. Off-white for Year 3 and 4, orange for Year 5 and above


2nd Session for those at Non-Catholic Schools- starts this Tuesday 5pm Clergy Ho


MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR MARRIAGE, with Cardinal at Cathedral – Sat 10th May 08, 3pm Those with 10th, 25th,30th, 40th, 50th & 60th+ anniversaries in 2008:please tell Clergy Ho by Dec 1st


CHURCH HEATING:for reasons of economy we are looking at hiring some heaters whilst new (flueless) boilers are put in, which will take quite a few wks. Thanks for your continuing patience.

THIS WEEK

Tues 13th (or Thurs 6th Dec) 7 pm-8:15 pm Child Protection Evening -for all with responsibili-ty over children in our parish, who must attend this evening. There will be an alternative in February 2008, but it will not be this December as previously advertised.

Sat 17th 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm & monthly thereafter for five months (3rd Sat.s of the month).

“Five Golden Threads of the Catechism” whilst this course is strongly recommended for catechists, it is NOT necessary to have completed the Echoes course, or to be a catechist, to enrol. Led by Mrs.Celia Edwards & Dr Michael Jarmulowicz. All welcome
