• May Bank Holiday, 26th Our annual 11-14 yr old youth trip to John Fisher School, Purley, 9:30 am -7 pm. Blue forms from Fr Hugh, who will be leading it.

 There is no Toddlers group or Youth Club this week.

 Thursday: 6pm – 9pm MASS & HEALING SERVICE led by a Goan priest in English

 Next w/e 1st Holy Communion receptions at Sun 10:30 am & 12 noon Masses.

 Next W/e we take up our collection of non-perishable foodstuffs for Cricklewood Homeless Concern.



RWANDAN ORPHANS MUSIC THERAPY PROJECT There is a thank you card and note from Therese the project manager for the over £1,000 that was recently delivered to her, on the back right hand board (with the rotas).
There will be a talk concerning the latest news on this work by recently returned Helen Leith (member of the Thursday Reflection Group) Thurs 12th June 7.30pm at St Agnes Centre.

11-14 YR OLDS Mon 11th August - Thursday 14th August Parish trip to Faith Summer Break – This is a fruitful, well supervised time of fun & faith at Woldingham School, Surrey. See Fr Hugh.

15 -30 Yr OLDS FAITH SUMMER SESSION – Mon 4th August – Friday 8th August Quality talks in a holiday atmosphere at Woldingham School, Surrey. Fr Hugh is leading a group.


The Mizen Family: A Call to Conversion – relevant to anti-life vote mentioned on other side Barry Mizen, the Catholic father of Jimmy, a 16 year-old altar server stabbed to death at a bakery near his home on 10th May said warned against demands for new laws as a reaction to his son's killing. At his funeral a week ago he said: "It does not have to be like this. Perhaps we all need to look to ourselves and look to the values we would like and our responses to situations in our life. Sometimes we might be drawn into certain ways of our living. It is our choice but change has got to come from all of us."

Jimmy’s mother Margaret said "Anger breeds anger and bitterness, and bitterness will destroy my family if I'm not careful - and I won't allow that to happen," she said, referring to her husband and eight other children. "I don't feel bitterness towards the parents because we're not in control of everything our children do." From Independent Catholic News

FOURTH ANNUAL PARISH CONCERT – 6TH JUNE- The Quality of Mercy

Martin Plunkett will perform the theme tune from our very popular Rock of the Anoin-ted Musical at Junior School etc: Fri 6th June. Advance Tickets £8 including glass of wine. (On day £15). See enclosure.

Junior School will be taking handover of new building in July (no longer June). So now the school term will end on 11th July and it will be open as normal in June (i.e. week of 16th will not be a holiday.
