Week of 21st September 2008
TODAY: we will take up our annual retiring collection towards The Westminster Catholic Children’s Society. Their leader, Jim Richards, recently said concerning the government’s Sexual Orientations Legislation which makes it illegal not to offer children for adoption by same-sex couples:
“we have no wish to usurp the will of Parliament there are plenty of other adoption agencies willing to assess same-sex couples. All we want to be able to do is to run our adoption services on the basis of what we know is best for children and in accordance with the teachings of the Church”.

NEXT SUNDAY: Our new Youth Worker, Niamh Moloney, will be outside all Masses to meet parishioners. Please say hello. Also we will take in any white envelopes with offerings for Martin Plunkett. These small blank white envelopes are now at the back.
Cricklewood Homeless Collection – Next weekend after all Masses for non perishable foodstuffs.

Sinhalese Mass – at 5.00pm.

There will be only a little music at the Sunday evening Mass during the month of September.
