Calling non-Catholics who would like to consider becoming Catholic: to our
Journey in Faith meeting next Saturday at 10:30 am until 11:45, in Church annexe.
Calling PARENTS OF CHILDREN AT NON-CATHOLIC SCHOOLS aged seven
upwards who are hoping to receive First Holy communion in 2009. Please give details to one of the priests.
YOUTH CLUBS FOR YEARS FIVE TO EIGHT (ages 9 – 13)
Our two Youth Clubs will start again in the third week of September. (Y5-6, 18th Sept until November 20th; Y7/8 19th Sept – 12th Dec). It will be necessary for all to apply again, once again it will be first come first serve, with limited places available, and a reserved list being produced. Forms are available at back with a closing date for the Y5/Y6 Club of Tuesday 9th September.
• Any Dads who can help with football are v. v. welcome, as are other parental volunteers
• Another Baby Belling cooker would be gratefully received!
• Any Parishioner with a hobby or interest or skill to talk and/or show off to small groups of youngsters very much appreciated.
Toddlers group starts again 16th Sept. UCM 24th.
There will be only a little music at the Sunday evening Mass during the month of September.
Sinhalese Mass – will take place here on 28th September at 5.00pm.
o A Day with Mary- Carmelite Church, Sat 13th Sept.
o Malta Day UK 2008 – Sat 13th Sept, Westminster Cathedral 10am-2pm followed by Mass at 2.30pm
o "Discovering the Face of Christ"- a day of talks, prayer & reflection.
Saturday 13th Sept Harpenden Public Halls, Southdown Road, AL5 1PD
o The Friars Aylesford Annual Peace Pilgrimage- Sun 21st with Mass at 12 noon and Liturgy for Peace at 2.30pm Call 01622 717 272.
o Life- Volunteers needed for the Charity LIFE, full counselling Training given, or if you have Counselling Skills please come and help us. Call Agnes Rees, Coordinator for London on 07515 578 598 or email agnesrees@lifecharity.org.uk
o Tyburn Convert, Marble Arch- Holy Mass & Prayers for Holy Priesthood including Rosary, First Friday 7pm.
