This w/e we welcome Tony Thomas to the parish for a couple of weeks. He’s currently working on computers for Lloyds bank & living in Battersea. Having become a Catholic, sev-eral yrs ago, he wants to observe the life of a parish. He might pop into a parish group nr you.

Friday Morning Holy Hour continues 8am – 9am
Morning Prayer also continues weekdays (except Wednesdays, & sometimes thursdays) 7:45 am, Saturdays and Sundays 8:15 am.

Family Quiz & Parish Raffle Night will be held on Fri 28th Nov in the Jesus and Mary Infant Convent School, Park Ave 8-00pm. The Parish Raffle will be held on that night. There will be a bar, including Soft Drinks. Entrance fee will: £3 for adults, £1 Children. Tickets, & Raffle books available after Mass. In aid of Church boilers


CONFIRMATION course for those in Year 9 will start in late Jan with initial meeting with the candidates on Saturday 10th January. Appointments will need to be booked before Christmas, but not yet! Watch this space. Confirmation will take place on 13th June 2009

Lit candles are still being placed on the foil underneath the proper metal holders, especially at the Pieta, presumably because there is no room left. This has proved to be a serious fire hazard. Please refrain from it – and use other stands when your preferred one is full.

The Family Of The Late Elizabeth Fox would like to thank all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement, those who sent Mass cards and attended her funeral Mass. A Mass will be offered for their intentions.



SECRETARIAL SUPPORT
As you may know our secretary Sinead has now gone off on maternity leave. Please pray for her and family at this important stage in their lives. We are getting extra part-time support in a week or two. Please be aware that the office hours will be even more strictly 10-2. We would ask that those coming to the door with Mass intentions and other paperwork queries try as much as possible to do this on Monday or Friday mornings
