Next Prep for 1st H.C. Prep. for Year Three or above children at non-Catholic schools, &/or non-baptized this Thursday 20th 4:30 -5:30 p.m.
MUM’S NIGHT OFF? This is it: Thursday 20th Nov 8:15 pm Clergy House. Chocolate, Cheese, Wine, Good film. For more info phone Clergy Ho.
There will be a MASS especially focussing upon young people on Sunday 23rd November (Feast of Christ the King, youth Sunday) at 6:30 pm
Family Quiz & Parish Raffle Night will be held on Friday 28th November in the Jesus and Mary Convent School Park Ave 8-00pm. The Parish Raffle will also be held on that night. There will be a bar and Soft Drinks will be available. Entrance fee will be £3 for adults and £1 for Children. Tickets for the Raffle will be distributed, 10 books to each family on Sunday 9th Nov and Quiz Tickets on sale following all Masses for the following 3 Sundays. In aid of Church boilers
CONFIRMATION course for those in Year Nine will start in late January with initial meeting with the candidates on Saturday 10th January. Appointments will need to be booked before Christmas, but not yet! Watch this space. Confirmation will take place on 13th June 2009
The Family Of The Late Elizabeth Fox would like to thank all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement, those who sent Mass cards and attended her funeral Mass. A Mass will be offered for their intentions.
SECRETARIAL SUPPORT
As you may know our secretary Sinead has now gone off on maternity leave. Please pray for her and family at this important stage in their lives. We are getting extra part-time support in a week or two. Please be aware that the office hours will be even more strictly 10-2. We would ask that those coming to the door with Mass intentions and other paperwork queries try as much as possible to do this on Monday or Friday mornings
