NEXT AUTUMN – ADULT FORMATION
Ø For those with a certain interest in becoming Catholics we will be running a series of Seekers evenings, any of which anyone interested in being introduced to the faith can just pop into. We will also be starting our Journey in Faith group for those significantly interested in becoming Catholic. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
Ø A number of parishioners will be starting a two-year certified catechism course linked with Maryvale Institute, of special relevance to anyone who is or might be passing on the faith to others (including their own children). At this stage in our community’s journey it would be particularly good for us to have people who have done this course.
It has proved a very fruitful course, even for those who in the past found formal study for one reason or another. It is specially designed to help all progress well. It involves only three Saturdays a year at a West or South-West London location, though there would also be optional support sessions here in the parish.
§ There will be special notice about this at Masses next weekend.
§ There will be a 45 minute introduction to the idea on Monday 14th September 8p.m.
§ The first Saturday will also be open to anyone wanting to treat it as a one-day stand-alone course.
Ø We will be having a scripture reflection group –also to be announced next weekend.
