CONTINUITY WALKS AND TALKS – LONDON -Thursday September 24th, 6.30pm. Meet on the steps of Westminster Cathedral. A Catholic History Walk. Come and discover the Catholic links that surround the heart of Westminster! An evening of history, in good company, in a spirit of cheerful faith and inspiration! Wear comfortable shoes for walking, The walk will last approx one and a half hours.
Marriage: A talk for young adults aged 18-38 by Peter Moran, founding member of the Sion Community. Friday 11th September, 7.30-9pm In the Hinsley Room at Westminster Cathedral (off Morpeth Terrace). For further details visit www.free2become.org or call 01277 373848
Catholic Singles is an organisation which helps single, widowed, separated and divorced Catholics of all ages (over 18 years) meet other single Catholics, either one to one or through social events. Ø Are you interested in becoming a Catholic? We will be starting a new Journey in Faith to share the richness of the Catholic Faith. We invite you to learn what the catholic Faith teaches. These gatherings are also for non-catholics inquiring about our faith, as well as catholic adults who are not yet confirmed. If you are interested or know anyone who may be interested, please contact Clergy House. Sessions will start on Tues Sept 22nd at 7.30pm – PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
Ø Deacon Michael's Bible Study Group Thurs eve.s 7.30pm from 24 Sep. All welcome.Two-year certified catechism course linked with Maryvale Institute, of special relevance to anyone who is or might be passing on the faith to others (including their own children). At this stage in our community’s journey it would be particularly good for us to have people who have done this course. It has proved a very fruitful course, even for those who in the past found formal study for one reason or another. It is specially designed to help all progress well. It involves only three Saturdays a year at a West or South-West London location, though there would also be optional support sessions here in the parish
SPEC We are currently seeking Youth Ministry Team members to work for one year at SPEC. We would be grateful if you could consider any young parishioners who may be good with young people and encourage them to contact us. Could you please put the following inserts into your next few newsletters?‘’
SPEC is recruiting 3 energetic, enthusiastic Children’s & Youth Ministry Team members aged 18-25 years to be trained to facilitate exciting programmes and week -long residentials . See www.spec.org.uk Training, Accreditation, Accommodation & monthly allowance provided.’’ Willing to share your faith and interests with other young people? See www.spec.org.uk ‘’
We are blessed with generous and enthusiastic young adults who gain so much from living a simple community life, the Formation and training In Youth and Children’s work- we hope to continue to encourage young people in Westminster Diocese to get involved
