Latest Faith Mag available. Very well received editorial entitled “The London Debate: Why we lost and what we must learn” about a big event where our faith came off v badly.
THINKING OF TAKING THE PLEDGE FOR LENT? It’s alot easier if you have the badge to show off! Non pioneers are invited to take the short term pledge for the duration of lent. Conditions for the enrolment are: - to abstain from all intoxicating drink; to recite the prayer daily; to wear the pioneer emblem. DEANERY FORTY HOURS DEVOTION
As part of the diocesan celebration of the Year of the Priest, there will be a 40 hours exposition of the Blessed Sacrament to pray especially for vocations to the priesthood and the growth of our parish. Our own participation in this 40 hours will be eight hours on Thursday 25th February, for until 6 pm. Next weekend it will possible to sign up for a half hour’s ‘watching’. we need every hour covered with two people. The whole timetable is below.
