ANNOUNCEMENTS.

• Cricklewood Homeless- Collection after all Masses this w/e of non-perishable foods.

• Schools Building & Refurbishment Fund – Collection after all masses next weekend.

• After Today’s 9 am and 10:30 am Masses the UCM will be holding a Cake Sale in the Annexe in aid of its excellent charities.

• Good Counsel Prayer Cards in porch suggesting we say this prayer whenever we see the flag of St George: “Great St George, Patron of England, slay the dragon of abortion and give Mary back her dowry”.

• The Latest edition of Magdala the parish magazine on sale.

• The latest FAITH magazine has some well received comments on abuse & Sex Ed crises.

• Patricia Rosario has donated 20 copies of her new CD “The Passion of Mary” composer Howard Blake. On sale in repository at reduced price of £15. Proceeds to Organ Fund.

• The Sacred Heart statue has been taken away for repair.

Weekday Morning Prayer in the Church on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until further notice.

Tuesday is the Feast of St Peter and Paul, a Holy Day of obligation – Masses are, vigil Mass Monday 6:30 pm, Tuesday 9:30 am (with St Mary Magdalen’s Junior School), 12 noon and 7:30 pm.

Padre Pio prayer group will meet in Our Lady’s Chapel on Thursday nest 1st July at 8.00pm.Mass ,Rosary and Prayers for the sick. All are welcome.

Play of the Prodigal Son by the Prayer & Play Group: This is to take place next Sunday 4th July 3 pm. Proceeds raised are in aid of the Lourdes Pilgrimage.

St Mary Magdalen Junior School Summer Fete this Saturday 3rd July- A great day out for the family. Please come and join the fun.


Convent of Jesus & Mary Infant School Summer Fete- Saturday 10th July 1pm-4pm. A fun filled day for all the family with lots to see and do. Please come and support our school. All are welcome.


 A Day with Mary two events; 1 Birmingham Oratory Sat 17th July and 2: Church of Mary , Mother of God, Nags Head Rd, Ponders End Sat 24th July.

 Our Annual procession of Our Lady, Immaculate Queen of the Universe will take place through the streets on 22nd August.

At today’s 12 noon Mass Freddie Douglas will receive his first Holy Communion.


Weekday Morning Prayer in the Church will recommence Monday 7:45 am. This will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until further noitice.

Newly confirmed reunion and introduction to Post-Confirmation group 5pm (one hour) followed by a social time from 7:30 pm Clergy House.

Play of the Prodigal Son by the Prayer & Play Group: This is likely to take place on Sunday 4th July due to school fete on 3rd. Interested children aged 5-12 years old welcome to get involved. Come to the Annexe for 30 mins on Mon 14th & Weds 16th at 5pm. Proceeds raised are in aid of the Lourdes Pilgrimage.


The proposed Parish Social “An Evening with Frank Sinatra”- has been delayed until the early autumn due to school fete that weekend

---Many thanks for your support of last week’s cake sale which raised £165 towards sending young people to Lourdes.

---The Willesden Green Pioneer Association presented the parish Special Needs Group --with a cheque for £1,100 at their Annual Mass on the Feast of the Sacred Heart last Friday evening. Many thanks to all donors and supporters of their annual Dance.


---The Special Needs Group is extremely grateful to the Pioneers and their donors for the above generous gift, towards social activities and the recent coach much enjoyed coach trip to Hythe.

TODAY
 10:30 Mass: FIRST HOLY COMMUNION thanksgiving Mass. 10:30, FOLLOWED BY a First Communion Tea in the new Junior School in Linacre Rd.
 CAKE SALE after morning Masses organized by our Post-Confirmation Youth group in aid of their participation in diocesan Lourdes pilgrimage this July.
 There will be a Mass in the Konkani (Goan) language at 3:30 pm here.

Kings Hall Summer Fete Sat 19th June 2pm -4.30pm. ‘Traditional Summer Fete with games, cream tea, Bouncy Castle, Raffles & Tombola. A fun afternoon for all the family. All are welcome – corner of King’s Rd
The King’s Hall also hosts the following activities which are very open to more custom:
Sequence dancing – Mons 2.00-4 pm; Tea Dance – Thurs.s 2.00-4.pm; Bingo – Sats 2.00-4pm

CHURCH FORECOURT - We regret that it looks like taking some time until we can reopen this for parking. Some basic repairs have been done, but to redo it appropriately will take some monies. Our Finance and Premises committee has felt that the priority should be the Clergy House central heating, which is due to take place over coming months.
