POPE’S RECENT COMMENTS: In a book length interview Pope Benedict recently made a subtle but important point concerning a complicated moral situation which has become a more prominent issue in the wake of the rise of promiscuity in the modern world and its awful effects. His words have been very prominently mis-interpreted by the national media as affecting basic Catholic teaching on the marital act. This misinterpretation to do with a widespread mis-perception of Catholic teaching. Please see the white A4 sheets in porch, where we have attempted to explain the situation.
