Pro-Life Times- Is now available in the porch, for free.
In the Annexe there are some (mainly)paperback novels. 25p each goes towards Holy Angels, post-Tsunami school for poor children.
Morning Prayer has now extended to every weekday morning at 7:45 pm, finishing at 8 am – in the Church This is the official “Prayer of the Church” through which the Mystical Body of Christ on earth offers itself to the Father. It is one of the most powerful ways to start your day.
Wednesday Club will be holding their Autumn “Bring & Buy” Sale on Wednesday 24th November in Kings Hall from 2pm -3pm. All are very welcome.
Padre Pio Prayer Group- Will meet Thursday 4th November at 8.00pm for Mass, Rosary and prayers for the sick. All are very welcome.
Youth Clubs Start again this week.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION COURSE. The essential first parents meeting, where application forms etc will be given out, will take place on Monday 8th November at 7:30pm in the Junior School, Linacre Rd. It is crucial for parents/guardians of children who are hoping to receive their First Holy Communion here in 2011 to attend this meeting.
Primary School Applications. It is now possible to book a December appointment with Fr Hugh for him to sign forms. Please phone Clergy Ho, 10-2
Memorial Mass and Reception for Sr Marie Therese Vooght
We will be celebrating a memorial Mass for Sr Marie Therese of the Convent of Jesus and Mary at the 10:00 am Mass on Saturday 27th November followed by a short celebratory ‘reception’. We hope that many of her past pupils will wish to attend. If you are in touch with past pupils, who now live outside the parish, please let them know.
NOVEMBER Traditionally during this month we pray especially for those who have died, that we may speed them to heaven.
• DEAD LISTS For prayer intentions for Nov Masses. Purple Sheets will be available this w/e. Placed close to the altar during Nov & some Masses are offered for them.
• BETHANY MASS- Friday 12th November, 7:30 pm. For all those who have passed away in the last year, especially those whose funerals were here. All very welcome.
No 6:30 pm Mass on the 12th.

Towards Advent 10th Anniversary- Sat 6th Nov 10am, Westminster Cathedral Hall. Bookstalls displays showing the work of Britain’s many Catholic organisations. Opening ceremony by Archbishop Vincent Nichols. Free admissions, talks £2.50 each. Refreshments served all day with kids’ play corner.
St Michael’s Grammar School, North Finchley will be holding an open evening for Sixth Form 11th November at 7.00pm. This is for boys & girls wishing to follow A Level courses. Please contact Mrs Palmer on 0208 446 2256 for further information.
The school will be holding its Christmas Bazaar on Sunday 5th December from 12noon to 4.00pm.
