Seventh Sunday of the Year A 20th February 2011
• The LAST Magdala (in its current format) is now on sale. Many thanks to Kathy Macken for having edited so well 100 issues – publishing material always encouraging & positive, and reporting on virtually all major parish & diocesan events
• Magdala questionnaire – in newsletter, we are asking you to fill this green A5 sheet today, with thoughts about what type of and what content in a future magazine you would be interested to see. Please leave in plastic baskets at back.
• The latest Faith mag (on Problem of Evil, the soul. The marital act, etc), Bible Alive, My Day by Day and Messenger magazines are on newspaper rack
• After the Papal Visit – see glossy A4 leaflets “Some definite service” in porch.

• After Masses next Sunday Tony Thomas, who is living and working amongst us this year, will briefly introduce the Addidas half-marathon fundraiser he shortly will be doing towards sending some of our young people on the Papal World Youth Day in Madrid this summer. You may have seen him traversing the local streets at slightly more than walking pace recently.

The Wednesday Club- Kings Hall Harlesen Rd 3 mins walk from Church – meet every Wednesday at 1.30pm – tea, bingo, chat new members – male or female – welcome

The UCM do not have a meeting this week

This Friday night – those over-16 year olds who would like to go to Madrid for the
World Youth Day meet for preparation, in Annexe 7:30 pm

Following Friday 4th March Catholic Children’s Society: Coffee morning and raffle – Annexe

Deacon Michael will be giving an illustrated talk on his recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land on Thursday 24th Feb at 7:30 pm in the annexe. This pilgrimage was led by the renowned Biblical scholar Jeff Cavins. All very welcome.
We are currently organising this year’s Family Feast Day – to take place on a July Sunday for the feast of St Mary Magdalen’s. This will involve 12.00pm Mass held in Willesden Sports stadium, followed by games, and a fun walk/run. Anyone with any ideas or suggestions, or if you would like to help out at this planning stage, contact John O’Sullivan 07958 524761, Tony Thomas or Fr Hugh in the presbytery.
