HOLY WEEK AND THE TRIDUUM (please see yellow timetables at back)
In essence, the Triduum is one great Mass which lasts for three days. By participating in it all we powerfully participate in the one act of Christ – the first Mass that began with the Last Supper and ends with his Ascension into glory. So from the greeting and the Sign of the Cross at the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, on Maundy Thursday, until the Solemn Blessing and double Alleluia Dismissal at the Easter Vigil there are only two Signs of the Cross –at 8pm Thursday and about 11pm Saturday. Please come to it all.
--LENT PENITENTIAL SERVICE will take place on Mon (18th) 7.00pm. Confessions until 9pm
--Church will be closed on Tues 19th April after 9.30am Mass to facilitate cleaning for Easter.
ALTAR SERVERS who would like to volunteer to serve over the Easter Tridium please sign sheets in sacristy, details of rehearsal times hereunder
