• It is possible to buy £3 tickets for next week’s Talent show “Willesden’s Got Talent” next Saturday, organised and presented by our Post Confirmation Youth Group – see below.
• Confirmation Candidates – Rite of election – 6.30pm Mass to-day.
• Altar servers rotas available in sacristy
• Servers Training for teams E and F – 2.00pm (For those who missed previous session).
NEXT SUNDAY (29th May)
• Sri Lankan Food Fiesta- after 10:30 & 12 noon masses in the Annexe - Fundraising for Sri Lankan chaplaincy.
• It will be possible to buy tickets for our annual parish concert with Patricia Rosario and other very talented parishioners, on June 10th. £7 beforehand, £12 on the night. See insert.
• Monthly collection for Cricklewood Homeless – 28/29th May
• A Pastoral letter issued by all the Bishops of England & Wales explaining the new translation of the Mass, due to commence on Sept 4thy – will be read at all masses.
THIS WEEK
• This Wednesday’s Mary immaculate Queen prayer group [112, Dartmouth Rd]. This Saturday at 12:30 pm there is a first anniversary Mass for Fr Michael Hubbard, leader of the messengers of Mary Immaculate Queen apostolate.
• This Thursday: NEW SERVERS: Calling young people from Year 5 upwards –We are recruiting new servers. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT RECRUITING FOR THE 10:30 AM MASS THIS YEAR. Course will be on Thursdays at 4:30 pm for one hour - on May 26th, and June 9th, 16th and 23rd. Still not too late to give in name, d.o.b, address, tel. no, and preferred Mass to Clergy House.
• There is no Y7/Y8 youth club this Friday. Next one 10th June
• This Saturday night: TALENT SHOW – part 2: Organized by our Post confirmation Youth group, Sat 28th May, King’s Hall, 6:30pm. Great acts, including Marc Norris, catholic stand up comic, a 15 year-old singer who cane 4th the Sri Lankan version of the X-Factor, brilliant dancers etc. – ONLY THREE POUNDS!! in aid of our World Youth Day trip.

The Little Sisters of the Assumption are leaving the area after 25 years in Kenneth Cres. Sr Margaret Collins, who has been involved in the parish in various ways, especially in leading our Thursday Reflection group, will be joining their community in Birmingham and Sr Valerie Sparrow, will be going to Sunningdale. Many will also remember Sr Winifred O'Brien. who sadly died recently. She was very involved in the parish over the years. We plan to have a ‘thank you and good bye’ for them after 10:30 am Mass, 5th June.
