Parish update
• First Holy Communion: Application forms and programme details are now available to collect from the back of the church. All forms must be completed with the baptismal cert attached and returned to the parish office. The closing date is the 30th November. The first parents meeting will be with Fr Kevin in church on the 15th December at 7.30pm.
• Repository- Advent wreaths & calendars, Christmas cards, cribs, candles, books & 2012 calendars now on sale.
• Year 7 & 8 Youth Club- We need helpers for year 7 & 8 youth club on Thurs 7pm-8.30pm. Contact John O'Sullivan on 07958524761 or at johneaglepainter@yahoo.co.uk.
• St Mary Magdalen’s Wednesday Club- Autumn Bring & Buy- Weds 23rd Nov
1.30pm-3.00pm. Raffle, refreshments, groceries, bric-a-brac. All welcome.
• Carol Concert: This year’s Nativity & Carol Concert will be held on Sunday 18th December at 3.30pm in Church.
• The Social Events Committee welcomes new members. This would give you the opportunity to take part in the organising of our social events & raising funds for various Parish needs as they arise. Please leave your details in the office.
• Singing the new responses- session in church with Fr Kevin, 19th Nov at 12.15pm. The Archbishop has requested that we all learn to sing the new responses. Everyone is welcome.
• Altar Servers –Please note there are no rotas. You are welcome to serve anytime you come to Mass.

4pm-6pm. Please contact Clergy House if you are interested in attending, as there are limited places. Transport will be provided for those who require it.

Thank you for helping our sick and retired priests. Last weekend this parish raised £1470 for the Sick and Retired Priests Fund and all of this money will be used to support sick and elderly priests. If you have not yet made a donation, it’s not too late as the collection remains open until the end of November. Donation envelopes are available at the back of the church. Please give as much as you can. (You can also make a donation online at www.rcdow.org.uk/donations.)
Public Relations & Media Co-ordinator at Missio- This is an official Catholic organisation to support overseas mission. The position is a full time (35 hours) permanent post. The job will be based in Eccleston Square but may involve national and some international travel. For application forms contact Peter Honiball on 0207 821 9755 or email peterhoniball@missio.org.uk .

Something worthwhile for Advent - “A foretaste of heaven.” This booklet is from the Diocese of Westminster‘s exploring faith series and contains six group sessions for faith –sharing and a series of questions on what we believe about the Eucharist & the Mass. £1.50
