Parish update
• Confirmation: Meeting for parents and candidates Monday 12th December at 7.30pm in the Convent of Jesus & Mary Infant School, Park Avenue Willesden.
• First Holy Communion: The first parents’ meeting will be with Fr Kevin in church on the 15th December at 7.30pm.
• Repository- Advent wreaths & calendars, Christmas cards, cribs, candles, books & 2012 calendars now on sale.
• The Social Events Committee: meeting this Tuesday at 8.00pm – new members very welcome – we organise social events and raise funds for various Parish needs. Please leave your details in the office or come to our meeting on Tuesday.
• Altar Servers –Please note there are no rotas. You are welcome to serve anytime you come to Mass. Training Session - Sat 10th Dec 4pm-10.30am & 12 noon servers.
• Carol Concert: This year’s Nativity & Carol Concert will be held on Sunday 18th December at 3.30pm in Church.

BIAS:[Brent Irish advisory Service] has requested that we publicise the following items –
• Annual Christmas Elders Party - at the Crown Moran Hotel Wednesday 14th December 12.00 till 5.30 - £10.00
• The Emerald Day Centre - run by BIAS every Friday has spaces available. Open to all older Irish Adults living in any borough. Provides lunch, mass, activities & entertainment. Will take Social services referrals or privately. For access and enquiries to the service please contact Ann or Hyni 020 8459 6655.
• Volunteer wanted - To do administration with excel/word work 2 days per week. Monday & Friday. Call Christina at BIAS 020 8459 6655
Advent Retreat: There will be an Advent retreat on Sat 17th Dec at St Benedict’s Parish, Ealing Abbey from 10:00am to 4:30 pm. The retreat will be led by a Benedictine monk and Franciscan Friar. There will be talks on Lectio Divina, with Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Divine Office, Silent Reflection and Sacrament of Confession. (See poster at the back of the Church). There is a £10 charge for a hot meal. Please apply either directly to Ealing (using appropriate forms) or via Deacon Michael.

St Vincent De Paul: is distributing cold-weather packs to rough sleepers and your donation is invited to cover the cost of £3 per pack. Please post to The S.V.P. c/o 46 Brunswick Court, Regency St., SW1P 4AE, and say if you would like your name labelled on the pack.

The Passage With Christmas and cold weather approaching , your donation will help us take homeless people off the streets and into a home; not just for Christmas, but for good. For donations that are Gift Aided, a further 25p can be claimed by The Passage for every £1 given. When you donate online to The Passage from 10.00 a.m. Monday 5 December to Friday 9 December, your donation will be doubled by the Big Give campaign!
