Parish Update
• Cricklewood Homeless monthly collection of non-perishable foodstuffs this weekend.
• SPUC (Society for the Protection of Unborn Children) a total of £518 was collected for this worthy cause – many thanks to all who contributed.
• New Sunday Roman Missal now on sale in the repository.
Confirmation candidates Formal enrolment will take place at 6.30pm Mass this Sunday 29th January.
Appreciation: Sean Hough would like to thank all who sympathised with him, sent Mass cards etc on the recent death of his sister, Rita Boyle. Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Approaches to Youth Ministry Saturday 4 February, a workshop for people who are working with young people or those interested in finding out more about this ministry in the Church. Celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes Mass with Anointing of the Sick, on Saturday 11th February 2012 at 2.00 pm. The Archbishop will be the Chief Celebrant, at the annual Mass in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes, in the Cathedral. The Sacrament of the Sick will be administered during the Mass by the Archbishop, Auxiliary Bishops and Priests who will be concelebrating the Mass. Guided Prayer in Lent If you are aged between 18 and 35 why not take this opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ during Lent. You will meet once a week with an experienced prayer guide who will accompany you as you strive to listen more carefully to the voice of God in your life. See the poster on the notice board. Diocesan Young Adult Retreat/Pilgrimage We are organising a retreat/pilgrimage to Rome in September. Full details have yet to be confirmed, but it will take place 14th to 19th September and is likely to cost between £550 and £600. The itinerary is yet to be planned, but the time will include input, periods of silence and communal prayer, discussion, community building and a visit to Rome. A real opportunity to take some time to pray and think about God in a centre of our faith. At this point we’re hoping to assess the level of interest.
