Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God – 1st January 2012
Parish Update

• Fr Kieran: given his wish not to have a “hullabaloo”, and after advice from people who know him well, I think we should respect the good father’s wishes. However, he is not around this weekend so at the end of all Masses there will be a retiring collection for him to show our appreciation of his wonderful service to our parish. If you haven’t got an offering this weekend and since he will be here next weekend (and we want to keep this a secret) you might like to bring your contribution to Clergy House during the week – please just put it in an envelope labelled “Fr Kieran”. Next week I shall let you know when his last weekend will be and we shall make a presentation to him at that time. In the meantime, let us give thanks as he suggests and pray for him and his new parish.

• Confession: should you need help in preparing for this sacrament, see leaflets at back of church “How to go to Confession” and “The Sacrament of Confession - a guide for adults”

• Cricklewood Homeless Concern: Collection of non perishable food stuffs is this weekend.
