Irish Elderly Advice Network. The annual Spring concert will take part at the Theatro Technis Theatre, 26 Crowndale Road, Camden Town NW1 1TT on Friday 13th April at 7.30pm featuring the Irish pensioners’ choir, Irish traditional music and dance. Migrant Mass. This will take place on Monday 7th May in Westminster Cathedral at 11am. Volunteer stewards, readers and people to carry banners are required. Please contact Clergy House if you can assist with this event on 020 8451 4677
Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Archbishop Vincent invites you to join him from 7th -15th November 2012. During the pilgrimage you will stay in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Galilee and show your support for the local Christian communities. The cost is £1480 per person based on two sharing a room. Assistant to the Sub Administrator (internship) at Cathedral Clergy House, Westminster commencing in September 2012. This 1 year role would suit a gap year student, looking to gain experience and grow his CV with an internship. The intern will live and work in the Cathedral Clergy House with the Cathedral chaplains. Hours of work approx 35 - 40 hours per week (flexible). Closing date 30th April 2012. • Living with Stress (booking essential) on Saturday 21st April 11am-4pm , exploring both the negative patterns which cause us problems, and the energy and resources we all possess to give us a more positive approach to living with stress.
• St. Paul: The Man, His Life and His Work on Tuesdays 24th April-29th May 11am -1pm REPEATED Wednesdays 25th April -30th May 7-8.30pm - an introduction and guide to the life, letters and theology of Paul whose writings form a large part of the New Testament.
• Beyond Belief, with Margaret Silf on Thursday 26th April from 11am-4pm, to raise awareness and stimulate discussion on what it really means to be a person of faith in today’s world.
• Theology of Prayer on Thursdays 26th April – 17th May from 7-8.30pm, addressing what the Church teaches on prayer and how this informs a distinctively Catholic spirituality.
