PARISH UPDATE
Patronal Festival 2012. 40 Hours of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th July 10am-8pm. Devotions and Benediction at 8pm. Saturday 21st July 8am -6.30pm. Mass at 6.30pm. Solemn Mass Sunday 22nd July at 12 noon. Please sign the lists at the back of the church for one of the few remaining hour slots.
Year of Faith. You will be hearing a great deal about the forthcoming ‘Year of Faith’ soon, but an exciting announcement by the Pope last month is that on the Feast of Corpus Christi (2nd June 2013) the Pope will be adoring the Blessed Sacrament, and he has asked that every church THROUGHTOUT THE WHOLE WORLD joins him in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament at exactly the same time. How profound, the entire church in adoration at exactly the same time!
The Relic of St Edmund Campion will be present during the Mass on Tuesday 17th July 9.30am.

CARITAS, the new Diocesan agency established to address the challenges of social exclusion and poverty, is looking for volunteers to assist with mapping the good works going on already in our parishes and schools and to identify other areas of need in the Diocese that CARITAS could help with. Exhibition of the life of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. Life, Spirituality and Message at St Patrick's Church Soho Square, London, W1D 4NR (entrance through Goslett Yard). From July 24th - September 15th Tuesday - Sunday, 11am - 7pm.

Day Pilgrimage to Walsingham. To commenmorate St Padre Pio’s first Mass. The coach leaves the church at 7.45am on Sunday 12th August. £13.50 per person. Contact John O’Sullivan 0208 459 0279 for bookings.
