The boy choristers of Westminster Cathedral Choir will give a performance of Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, accompanied by harp (other items on the programme include Britten's Missa Brevis and music by Stanford and JS Bach) on Tuesday 11th December at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15.00 each. St Vincent de Paul are distributing cold weather “ Vinnie Packs” to rough sleepers; these will contain a hat, gloves, socks, a thermal blanket and toiletries, together with a list of night shelters and day centres. The icon will be on display for veneration by all who visit Westminster Cathedral from 4:00pm Monday 5th November until some time after the 5:30pm Mass which will be offered for the protection of the unborn. You Believe is a year long celebration of catechesis for young people drawing on the youth catechism of the Catholic Church. The opening of the centre for youth ministry and the first talk, which will be given by Archbishop Vincent Nichols, take place on Monday 6th November, 22 Phoenix Road, NW1 1TA at 7:00pm.See the poster at the back of the church for details.
