All Saints’ Day on Thursday is a Holyday of Obligation. Masses are at 6.30pm on Wednesday and 9.30am and 7.00pm on Thursday.

Repository. There is a selection of Advent wreaths, candles, church art calendars , Christmas cards, cribs, books and Mass bouquets on sale from this weekend.
Weekly Catechesis Leaflets. Leaflet 4 of our Year of Faith catechesis leaflets, on the existence of God, is published this week. Keep these and they will build up into a ‘mini-catechism’ of 60 leaflets.
Work Experience Scheme. Could your workplace offer a day’s work experience for a local student from Newman Catholic College? Sarah Teather MP is working with the school to help set up the new scheme. Please contact omar.deedat@parliament.uk if you are interested in this really worthwhile scheme.

Catechism Course in the Year of Faith. A course in the Catechism of the Catholic Church will be given by Fr Michael Quaicoe on Mondays from 15th October to 19th November, 7:30-8:30pm, at Westminster Cathedral. All are welcome. From Ocean to Ocean is a pilgrimage of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa across Europe. The icon will be on display for veneration by all who visit Westminster Cathedral from 4:00pm Monday 5th November until some time after the 5:30pm Mass which will be offered for the protection of the unborn.
AFF Retreat for parish adult faith formation leaders and those involved in various parish ministries and catechesis.
